Dr. Brad Grinstead

He is an Electrical Engineer by training, with 15 years of high-performing imagery engineering experience with photogrammetry and computer vision. Dr. Grinstead received his BSEE, BSCS, and MSEE degrees from Texas Tech University, and he received a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. His expertise includes motion video processing and correction, 3D point cloud data processing, pattern recognition, multi-source data fusion, segmentation and clustering algorithms, large-scale data processing, and electrical systems modeling. His experience managing and developing new research for multiple large programs brings a wealth of experience to Allied Catawba.
 

Mr. Christiaan Janssen

He received his BS and MCS from North Carolina State University and has an extensive 15-yrear background in advanced computing concepts, artificial intelligence and machine learning, imagery and video processing, modeling and simulation, data compression, and graphics processing. His current efforts involve performance-based parallel processing, automated processing methods, and intelligent user interface design. In addition, his involvement in several programs dealing with large-scale data processing, algorithm optimization, statistical models, and automatically generated metadata systems brings a wealth of vital experience to the project. In addition to Allied Catawba he is the IAVO Chief Technology Officer, overseeing several overlapping Air Force and Navy programs (i.e., FeatureXTract™) whereby the focus is on improving the human-machine interfaces for various parts of the weapon targeting segments.
 

Dr. Matthew Heric

His involvement in imagery and operations sciences started with two legacy NASA projects: Large Format Camera and Airborne Image Spectrometer I and II and has continued to the present. Through the years, he has published more than 100 research and policy papers and final reports on imagery processing, mapping, geo-software, workflow optimization, systems development, and more. He has repeated, proven success in business and technology, investment, and commercialization across various software and service industries and currently owns a portfolio of for-profit science and technology firms. He holds degrees in applied sciences from the Universities of Georgia and South Carolina and Virginia Tech and holds various licenses and certifications aligned with these domains (e.g., licensed photogrammetrist: Virginia).
